The staff at this hostel were absolutely amazing, so sweet and generous. They went out of their way to help us with our excess luggage and even showed us the way to the subway. The beds were comfortable and the common living area was a nice touch. Plus, the hostel was conveniently located near the Dontoburi area, just a short walk or subway ride away.
The shower time starting at 8:00AM was a bit inconvenient for me as I'm a morning person. It would have been better if it started earlier, especially when there were other people waiting to shower at the same time.

We especially loved being within walking distance to Orange Street and Dotonbori. we highly recommend Picnic Hostel for anyone visiting Osaka!

The location was perfect, just a short walk from the subway station, Dotonbori, and Kyocera Dome. There were plenty of restaurants and a convenience store nearby. The staff were cute and friendly throughout my stay, making me feel right at home. I stayed in a quadruple room which was clean, spacious, and had a separate area for luggage. The curtains across the beds provided privacy, a nice touch. The facilities, including the laundry and kitchenette, were also great. I had a fantastic experience at Picnic Hostel.

Extraordinary friendly and caring staff who took very good care of us. Convenient location close to sightseeing spots and bars. The subway station and a convenient store were right around the corner. The room and bathroom were clean.
The room and private bathroom were small and sparse. The mattresses seemed cheap.

The room was perfect, with comfortable beddings and a cozy atmosphere. The toilet was the best part, and the staff was amazing. The location was quiet but very accessible, close to Station Osakanamba. It was also conveniently located near Lawson and a 24-hour restaurant with an English menu. The cleanliness and decoration of the place were also commendable. The owner and staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. They even waited for me when I arrived late and made sure everything was settled before I could rest. The bed was comfortable, and the place was well-located near Dotombori, Namba Market, and public transport. The hostel had an elevator and a kitchen for those who wanted to cook.
Felt exceptional, no complaints at all.

The dorm room was really cute and cozy, with comfortable beds and curtains for privacy. The hostel had a great location, very close to a subway station, making it easy to explore the city. The room had its own shower and separate bathroom, and I loved that the shower was a closed space with a spot to put my clothes, so they didn't get wet. The staff was super friendly and helpful, providing free umbrellas for the rainy weather. Another great feature was the availability of a washing machine and dryer at a small price.
While the hostel had many positive aspects, there were a few minor issues. The sheets in the dorm room didn't feel clean and had a strange smell.

I stayed at Picnic Hostel for one night and it was perfect. Mia-san, the owner, is lovely and goes above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. The hostel is conveniently located near the subway and convenience stores, and just a 20-minute walk from Dotonobori street. The beds are comfortable, facilities are clean, and Mia-san is excited to welcome guests now that the borders are open again.
